Erin graduated from the Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance at the Australian National University, Canberra in 2012 before moving to Melbourne and completing honours at Monash University in 2013. Through studying with some of Australia’s leading clarinettists and music educators including Alan Vivian, Catherine McCorkill and David Griffiths, Erin has gained an extensive technical, theoretical, aural and musical knowledge that she is eager to pass onto prospective students.
Erin has performed extensively as a soloist and in various ensembles including Monash Academy Orchestra and Canberra Youth Orchestra as well as participating in numerous eisteddfods, orchestras, bands, choirs and chamber music groups.Erin currently teaches at schools around Melbourne as well as privately. Erin aims to make instrumental lessons enjoyable for students whilst also ensuring constant technical and musical development. Erin thoroughly enjoys tutoring and, above all, seeks to inspire students by sharing with them her own passion for music.
