Hi, my name is Eujin. I am a piano teacher, performer, accompanist and singer and I have 20 years teaching experience privately and in schools. I have taught in Music Specialist Brighton Secondary School in Adelaide and Trinity College in Gawler. Most of my students who undertake AMEB exams score a minimum of a B.
I am a graduate from the Elder Conservatorium, Victorian College of Arts and Melbourne Conservatorium. Under the tutelage of Stefan Ammer from the Musikhochschule in Freiburg, Germany, I was able to learn Beethoven's and his contemporaries' (also known as the first Viennese School) fundamentals of piano playing.
I perform regularly in Adelaide and Melbourne. My passion lies in performing and teaching students valuable technique to equip them for performance. My most recent award was the coveted First Prize of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music Chamber Music Competition and Madeleine Orr Scholarship Prize.
My piano teaching technique and playing is firmly founded on technical approach of Abbey Whiteside, Heinrich Neuhaus and Brahms. For vocal training, I'm strongly grounded on Van Christy's singing technique.
