Hello!
My name is Evan, and I am a composer and conductor. I trained at the VCA, Melbourne University and across a number of summer courses and private lessons in Europe, the USA and Japan.
I have an extensive background as a singer. I have taught singing and piano for a number of schools and have run my own private teaching studio since 2011. I have worked extensively as a vocal coach across a number of styles, primarily opera, musical theatre and art song.
I have mentored a number of students, of varying ages, toward successful AMEB exams, VCE performance exams, auditions and University study. I have also taught several students for leisure, and I pride myself on structuring engaging lessons suitable for a variety of goals.
I am set up to teach online, I have a working with children check and offer competitive rates.
