My name is Ewald and I teach vocals, from 7 years old and up! I teach singing from St George’s College music room, which is airconditioned.
I have been teaching music for about 2 years now and have been playing the piano for about 15 years, and have been singing for as long as I can remember. I have sung in a variety of vocal ensembles, show choirs, and choirs. I currently singing in the UWA Con Cantorum ensemble, as well as in the St George’s Chapel Choir. I have also sung a variety of vocal competitions, eisteddfods, and examinations, as a soloist, as well as in a group.
I am willing to teach any student, and no prior knowledge is required! I am a baritone, so I prefer to teach male vocal students, however, I can teach any voice type. I specialise teaching in classical vocals, jazz, and musicals, but can also easily branch out into other genres. The first lesson is free, as it’s just a “see what it’s about and if you like it” lesson.
I can get hold of all the music required for the lessons and would have no problem preparing students for exams and eisteddfods. I can also help with choir or ensemble music that you might be struggling with.
Everyone is welcome, and I look forward to helping develop musical individuals! Thank you for considering me, and I hope to hear from you soon!
