Fiona Horbach

Fiona graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music majoring in mandolin. She started playing the mandolin at the age of 7 and loves its unique sound.
Fiona has taught classroom music from playgroup to year 12 HSC and conducted choirs and instrumental groups in NSW schools.
She has performed in mandolin orchestras, chamber groups and as a soloist. In 2010, 2014 and 2018 she performed in two groups at the BDZ Eurofestival in Germany. In 2012, 2013 and 2017 Fiona attended and performed at the Classical Mandolin Association of America's annual convention.
Fiona performs Classical and World Music with Plektra, Ensemble Rastanak and is the leader of the Sydney Mandolin Orchestra.
Fiona also studied the piano at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and has a certificate in Dalcrose Eurhythmics.
Lessons are tailored to suit your musical interests and given in Bayview, on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
