I was first taught to tune a ukulele by my aunty when I was 4 years old and have been playing it ever since. Now I'm a 56 year old mother and have 3 kids, a 22, 17 and 13 year old and they can all play the uke.

Learn to play anything from 'Polly Put The Kettle On' to 'Riptide' to 'Silent Night'. I offer individual or group classes for anyone from age 5 to 100! You'll be learning a song a week. Great for family concerts, "Your School's Got Talent" competitions, and just being able to pick up an instrument and make real music.

The ukulele can be as easy or as challenging as you want to make it. You can just learn chords to accompany yourself as you sing along or you can learn to pick out notes along with the chords. This means you get to play the melody without having to sing. In my teaching experience I've found that a lot of people don't want to sing necessarily but they still want to be able to play an instrument.

If you have a song you especially want to learn email me and I'll work it out and teach you it in your first lesson!!

The pricing for group lessons is a bit different. Give me a call or text or send an email for details! I can accommodate up to five people per group if you come to me, or more if you have a space and I'll come to you. These lessons are an hour long.

If you're on Facebook, head to my Gail Monjo Ukulele page and check out some tutorials along with some songs for you to download.
