Piano Lessons with Registered Music Therapist

Hi there!

I have 14 years experience in helping students find enjoyment and confidence in playing their favorite songs on the piano. I teach people of all ages ranging from complete beginners to diploma levels. I primarily teach Classical and contemporary music.

My practice as a Registered Music Therapist has allowed me to extend my teaching services to people living with neurological conditions and disability using standard and adapted methods. Therapeutic music lessons may be billable under NDIS and aged care funding, depending on the plan arrangements.

In the lessons, we engage in a range of musical activities as it serves the student's goals and interests including but not limited to:

• Preparing for exams, auditions, and/or eisteddfods
• Learning favorite songs using sheet music or by ear
• Technical work
• Improvisation
• Music composition
• Music theory
• Musical engagement for pleasure and other non-musical goals
