Georgia Mazis

Georgia is a singer, dancer, composer and teacher. She sings in choirs and a cappella groups and in the recent past has performed in Aged Care Facilities as a singer and dancer.

Currently Georgia facilitates the Carlton Chorus community choir and writes songs for choir and a cappella groups. She also teaches singing in Primary Schools.

Georgia is motivated by her interest in the human voice as a means for communication and a conduit for the expression of the self. Georgia enjoys sharing the knowledge and skills she has developed over a lifetime of singing and many years of teaching. Her goal is to help singers develop and realise their vocal potential by encouraging her students to discover how their voice works and to develop their own individual singing style. Georgia’s approach to teaching singing is informed by her view that every voice is as unique as the individual who owns it.
