Gesina Sands is a Piano Teacher and Accompanist with over 8 years of experience in Australia and New Zealand.
Gesina Sands graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. She studied under Dr.Therese Milanovic.
During her time at the QCGU Gesina was a finalist in the Basil Jones Sonata Prize (2012) with violinist Iona Allan.
Since graduating Gesina has worked in at Clayfield College (Brisbane); The Southport School, TSS (Gold Coast) as well as running a private music studio.
Currently, Gesina teaches at The Southport School (TSS) and St Hilda's School and is also the staff choral accompanist and chapel organist.
Gesina teaches students from beginner levels right up to advanced diploma levels. She can prepare students for AMEB, ABRSM, Trinity Exams as well as Eisteddfod's and Performances.
Gesina regularly accompanies students and choirs for yearly AMEB exams, Eisteddfods, Music Tours, Performances and Competitions.
