Giorgia Di Girolamo

Hi! My name is Giorgia and I am professional musician and dedicated teacher with many years of experience in playing and teaching drums and pipe band snare drum (Scottish music).
I come originally from Italy but I have been living in Sydney since 2017. I have been playing drums for almost 20 years and I attended the Saint Louis College of music in Rome to get the Bachelor degree in Jazz Percussions with Honours.
I performed around Europe with great musicians in different ensembles therefore I am a very versatile musician and teacher.
I had original and cover bands both in Europe and Australia but my dream job is teaching music and I have been doing since 2013.

I am very adaptable and I have an empathetic vibe that makes the teaching experience, for myself and the student, highly enjoyable and rewarding.
My main goal is to instil the love for music in my students, develop their musical knowledge and their skills.
I have a permanent position at Presbyterian ladies College as Pipe band drum instructor and I am the Head of Drums department at All Age Music School but I am happy to have some private students so feel free to contact me for more info!
