Grace Joyce

Hi there,
My name is Grace Joyce and I am an enthusiastic piano teacher. I have completed up to and including Grade 6 AMEB in piano. As well as this, I have completed a Bachelor of Music degree majoring in classical voice performance. The following year in 2016 I completed my Honours degree and was awarded First Class Honours. In 2019 I completed a Masters of teaching degree from Flinders University and have 3 years of classroom music teaching experience from Year 7-12, successfully seeing all my Year 12 students through SACE.

I am passionate about music and this is something I nurture and encourage in all my students and all styles of music. I provide a friendly, encouraging and relaxed teaching experience and atmosphere. Whether you are looking to learn for fun or more seriously I am flexible and willing to work with you to achieve your goal and suit your level and style of choice.
With whatever styles my students choose, I strongly believe in teaching foundational piano techniques and theoretical knowledge.
I also strongly encourage my students in developing the ability to read music as this is a great benefit in all styles of music and for all instruments.

I offer individual and group lessons and I teach students from the age of 5 to adults.
Half an hour lessons are $35,
45 minute lessons are $50 and one hour lessons are $70
I teach from home.
