Grace Leonard

Grace is a singing teacher and speech pathologist based in Sydney's Inner West. She has over 10 years teaching experience, and a variety of experience performing and recording as a vocalist.

After completing her Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice Performance (with Distinction) at the The University of Newcastle Conservatorium of Music in 2014, Grace went on to complete a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) at the University of Sydney, and is currently working part-time as a Speech Pathologist. She utilises her clinical experience as a Speech Pathologist to inform her approach as a holistic vocal trainer. Grace continues to seek and invest in professional development for vocal training and voice therapy.

Grace is currently a Vocal Tutor for the NSW Arts Unit Singers, and has worked with the NSW Arts Unit as a Vocal Tutor for the 2023 Junior Singers and Senior State Music Camp, 2022 Solo Vocal Camp and the 2022 NSW Junior State Music Camp. Grace has performed, recorded and/or toured with Sydney Philharmonia Chamber Singers, Cantillation, Gondwana Chorale, Metropolitan Players, The National Theatre Company, Newcastle University Chamber Choir and Christ Church Cathedral Choir.
Grace is passionate about vocal health, developing strong musicality and technique, and delivering holistic, individualised training to singers and voice performers. Her studio space is a safe, welcoming and accommodating environment for LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals, and is registered with the ACON Welcome Here program.
