Hi I'm a violin graduate from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, where I was a Chancellor's Scholar and recipient of the Corinna D'Hage Mayer String Scholarship. I received my Licentiate Music Diploma in Violin (2013) and received a High Distinction in Grade Six Music Theory (2011).
I have extensive solo, chamber, and orchestral experience and have served as concertmaster of a number of leading professional student orchestras around Australia. I have also performed as a guest violinist in a number of professional orchestras, including the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Ballarat Symphony Orchestra.
Performing across a variety of settings has fostered my holistic understanding of music performance and theory. I am available to teach Music Theory Grades 1-6 and I have an extensive collection of resources. My previous students have all attained minimum Honours (A) in their Theory of Music exams. I have also taught three Grade 6 Theory of Music students, who have all attained Honours (A) in their exams.
I am also available to provide three-day intensive courses to help diploma exam students (CMusA/AMusA/LMusA) prepare for the General Knowledge component of their exams.
I have limited availability in the second half of 2024 so please get in touch early if you're interested!
