I can travel to you to teach within the Melville area and surrounding areas or you can travel to my studio in Mount Pleasant.

I have performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Radiohead, Nashville Symphony Orchestra, held principal trumpet at Rapides Symphony Orchestra in Louisiana and 3rd Trumpet in Lake Charles Symphony. I was a soloist in the 1st Marine Division Band and toured Western U.S. with the 1st Marine Division Brass Quintet where I also lead brass Masterclasses in high schools and universities..
I’ve also been a soloist at various venues and events to include New York's Carnegie Hall with the University of Louisville Symphony Orchestra, Nancy Reagan’s funeral, 9/11 commemorations, and military memorials throughout the US and Europe.

I held the Trumpet Instructor position at the Naval School of Music in Virginia, USA and have taught hundreds of students over the past 2 decades with some students going on to attend Julliard, Northwestern University and the Eastman school of music.

Commercially, I've also performed with pianist Marcus Roberts and drummer Jason Marsalis, and members of the Boston Brass. I've also toured and recorded with a Kentucky-based salsa group called Grupo Aché.

I have studied under Professor Dave Scott, the late Dr Michael Tunnell and Joe Burgstaller of Canadian Brass.

I moved here recently from the US and am passionate about increasing the awareness, opportunities and versatility that the trumpet has to offer

Over the past 30 years, I have obtained a vast amount of knowledge of the trumpet and its use in literature, and want to pass that knowledge and experience to trumpet players here. My teaching style varies according to the needs and wants of the student. In these lessons, we will cover breathing, sound production, articulation, technique, flexibility, range, musicianship, rhythm, styles, music theory and literature.
