As a violinist and double bassist, I am adept at teaching all strings, including violin, viola, cello and double bass from beginner to advance levels. I am fully qualified with a Diploma of Arts (Instrumental) Performance (violin and double bass) from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and studied at Elder University in Adelaide after.
I hold a wealth of experience conducting beginner string ensembles to advance ensembles. My passion and strength is teaching private and group lessons where I prepare students for concerts, exams, eisteddfods and auditions. I also am passionate about teaching students that have learning or physical disabilities and also to those who are gifted both intellectually and musically.
Many of my students receive Honours and High Distinctions for AMEB exams, and I am fully capable of teaching according to the AMEB syllabus.
As an orchestral musician, I have casually performed with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and the South Australian Opera Company.
I am renowned for being highly-organised, prompt, reliable and professional music teacher with an extensive range of musical experiences.
