With a variety of teaching positions spanning 13 years alongside a flourishing performance career, I bring a mixture of youth, experience and excitement to my lessons.
I have taught at some of the country’s most elite schools as well as though no-for-profits in disadvantaged communities. Through Sydney Conservatorium’s Open Academy, I taught students from 5 to 65 and have developed students to a solid tertiary level. I currently teach from my studio in Brunswick.
Where I stand out from other teachers is my ability to convey my passion for the things that make music special and sew an appreciation for great music, to inspire great music making.
My students have placed at the World Grand Prix International Music Competion, performed in Carnegie Hall and gained positions in summer schools all over the world.
As a performer I am a regular casual with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria and Melbourne Chamber Orchestra.
