I began playing piano in 2016 and have always loved how music can express emotion and personality. My favourite piece I have played is Struttin’ It Around by Sonny Chua, a jazzy, extroverted work that challenges technique while remaining engaging and enjoyable to perform and listen to. Through my work as a swimming instructor, I developed a strong passion for teaching and love working one-on-one to target specific skills, finding it especially rewarding to see students recognise their own improvement. Teaching piano allows me to combine this passion with creativity, adapting my approach to best support each individual student. Alongside music, I am one of my school's prefects, enjoy reading (particularly fantasy and mystery), and care for a large collection of indoor plants. Each lesson is tailored to the individual student's goals and learning styles. I have been predominantly tutored by Kayler Woithe (who has 25+ years experience playing, and 10+ years teaching experience) and teach at her studio Tune In Music Studio.
