Hannah graduated with a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Newcastle, where she studied modern and baroque flute with Sally Walker and was the recipient of the Vaslasi Bleazard Memorial Scholarship. She was selected for “Study Abroad” at the Luleå University of Technology, Sweden, studying for one semester with Sven-Erik Sandlund and researching/performing traditional Swedish Folk Music.
A committed teacher, Hannah is currently completing a Masters in Teaching (Primary) through the University of Newcastle and finds this a satisfying challenge as she continues to develop her teaching career.
Hannah has spent the last 12months as a locum flute teacher at the Riverina Conservatorium in Wagga Wagga, here she was involved in teaching private and group flute lessons, directing and conducting senior and junior flute ensembles, tutoring at school band events and facilitating concerts and masterclasses.
She has the Working With Children Check and current First Aid training.
