Harry Tompsett

I'm an outgoing, socially and professionally equipped student and musician with a passion for sharing and creating music!

I'm currently majoring in Jazz at The Conservatorium of Music, and have been playing for 13 years as well as studying a variety of other instruments at advanced levels, with interests in a multitude of contrasting styles, genres and eras.

I began playing professionally in high school, gigging in ensembles and as a soloist. I busk regularly and have been involved in many community music events. My goal this year is to widen my student base - I would consider myself to be an expressive, encouraging and highly invested teacher, as music is something I am passionate about!

Being initially self-taught, I can demonstrate a wide range of methods of learning, from different approaches and angles.
