Helen completed the Bachelor of Music (Performance) at the University of Melbourne, and graduated with a Masters of Music (Performance Teaching).
She has been teaching piano and theory for over 10 years both privately and at Lowther hall Anglican Grammar School. Due to her growing home piano studio, tuition is now only available privately.
Passionate about music, Helen loves to inspire her students to grow as musicians and excel in their learning.
AMEB and VCE exam preparation is available, as well as preparation for auditions and other performances.
As a fully accredited member of the VMTA (Victorian Music Teachers' Association) and primary accredited member of Suzuki Music Association, Helen is able to offer her students ample performance opportunities at VMTA and Suzuki Concerts, as well as at her Annual Studio Concert.
Live Online or Remote piano lessons are available. Helen uses Zoom to conduct these lessons (this is free to use). She has 2 cameras set up; one provides a side-view, and one provides an over-the-top view of the piano keyboard.
