Hilary Odgers

I'm a classically trained violinist who has been teaching and performing around Melbourne since 2007.

I take a flexible and adaptable approach to teaching, drawing heavily from the Suzuki philosophy and repertoire (especially with young beginners) while also ensuring to incorporate note-reading and AMEB exams when this suits a student's needs.

I teach students across a number of schools in Melbourne, including Suzanne Cory High School, Thomas Carr College, Staughton College and Carlton Gardens Primary School, as well as from my private studio in Pascoe Vale, and online.

I take a special interest in teaching young beginners, and students with diverse learning needs. I also love teaching and jamming with adult beginners!
