Whether you enjoy singing in the shower or aspire to stand on a stage, in front of an audience, singing is great fun & good for health!
There are so many reasons why learning to sing is a great idea, including: improving your voice, relieving stress, improving lung function, and strengthening memory skills
Learning to sing properly isn’t just about sounding good. When you sing the wrong way, you can seriously strain or injure your vocal chords. Even just a few lessons can help you to learn how to sing properly without straining your voice unnecessarily. We can teach you how to harness good vocal technique to improve, develop, and protect your voice.
Our singing teacher, Matthew, is both an accomplished classically trained singer, and a pianist. He completed his Bachelor of Music at Sydney Conservatorium, majoring in classical voice with the internationally acclaimed baritone, Simon Lobelson. In 2022, Matthew was thrilled to win both the Michael Saunders Aria section, and the Hawkins Family Stage and Screen prize, as well as many other sections, at Lake Macquarie Eisteddfod. He has been teaching music for several years, and he particularly enjoys seeing the light bulb moments in a lesson when students really connect with their music, and get excited about their achievements!
Whether you are looking to make singing into a career or simply a hobby, professional singing lessons can help you to achieve your goals!
