Hills Violin and Piano School

Violin and Piano lessons for children aged 4-17.

Hills Violin & Piano School is for beginners through to intermediate level students.

Jodie is Conservatorium of Music (Sydney University) trained and holds a Bachelor of Music Education.

She has an 8th grade AMEB in both Violin and Piano, and performed A. Mus and L. Mus violin requirements throughout university and beyond. Jodie also has 6th grade AMEB in Musicianship.

Jodie taught classroom Music at Barker College from 1996-2000 from Year 5 to HSC level and was Head of Strings there for the last two of her five years there. She then taught secondary music at Ascham School in 2001.

Jodie has taught violin, piano and theory/musicianship for sixteen years privately from home, at Nova School of Music on the North Shore and at Sydney Grammar Preparatory School in St Ives.

Jodie loves to teach violin and piano to children and help them grow in not only their technical skills but also their love for music and playing the violin or piano. Jodie is a mum herself with two wonderful children! Lessons are held in her home in Baulkham Hills.

Lessons are available during term time for children as young as 4 through to students in Year 12.

• School aged children - lessons currently available after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

• Pre-school aged children - lessons available during school hours Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

• Weekend lessons sometimes available.

Please note that Jodie does not prepare students for exams and that her current piano is a digital near full size piano.

Lesson fees: $35/half hour.
