About: Cello teacher based in Carlton (near University of Melbourne and CBD) with experience preparing students for concerts, eisteddfods, auditions and exams. Can teach a vast range of students from beginners just starting out to students preparing for AMEB AMusA. Studied under Professor Mei-Lee Stocker of the Queensland Conservatorium and David Lale, former Princial Cellist of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

Teaching Style: I approach students with care and friendliness. I love to draw out students' passion for music and the cello since I believe that enjoyment is crucial for the long-term continuance of playing music. At the same time, I will work to improve their skills and musicality as much as possible.

Awards & Experiences: Winner of the 2019 Queensland Symphony Orchestra Young Instrumentalist Prize. Studied at the Queensland Conservatorium in 2020. Completed AMEB LMusA Cello, AMusA String Quartet, and Grade 6 Music Theory. Granted scholarships from Griffith University, University of Queensland and University of Melbourne.
