Holly Norman is a percussionist and drummer with ten years’ experience performing in the classical, jazz, and commercial music industries. She is a graduate of the WA Academy of Performing Arts and the University of Miami, and has appeared onstage with West Australian Symphony Orchestra, The Cat Empire, Australian String Quartet, The Panics, and many more. Holly is also a singer-songwriter, storyteller, and arts manager. Her passion for creating live original music has taken her all over the world, performing at music festivals in the United States and throughout Europe.
Holly is currently based in Melbourne, where she offers private tuition on drum set, hand percussion and ear training/solfege from her home studio in Ascot Vale. She is experienced in teaching students of all different ages, abilities and learning styles. Holly’s ultimate goal as a teacher is to cultivate in her students a love of music, and to make learning rewarding and fun!
