Teaching Expertise – Violin, Guitar & Piano
I first stared playing violin at the age of four. Ever since I can remember violin and music have been a huge part of my life. During my secondary schooling I was awarded a music scholarship and played in a string ensemble, spending time in many music eisteddfods. After joining the Sunshine Coast Youth Orchestra, I spent 6 years as first violin, and was always looking for opportunities to further my skills whilst also representing my school at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, as part of their Young Conservatorium program.
During this time, I was able to immerse myself in everything music, whilst developing a passion for live performance, and a deep appreciation of the classical repertoire. Having studied both violin and piano I hold a grade 8 AMEB qualification for violin, and also have a proficient command of both piano and guitar.
My teachers have had a profound impact on my musical experience, in the development of my skills base and my appreciation of music generally. I have a passion to share this knowledge with my students and assist them whether they are working towards AMEB examinations or simply learning for fun. I would love to be a positive influence in their musical development, as others have been in mine.
