Eamon Roy: NDIS Registered Music Therapy Provider for Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs
Eamon is a Registered Music Therapist under the Australian Music Therapy Association. Holding a Masters of Music Therapy from the University of Melbourne, he has emerged from a rich and varied background in learning development, support work and music education. Throughout his training, Eamon has practiced music therapy with a range of individuals providing music therapy services in hospital, specialist school, aged care and adult disability settings. In 2020, Eamon worked as a session leader for the University of Melbourne, Creative Arts and Music Therapy Research Unit (CAMTRU) who conducted research to investigate the potential of Telehealth as a format for group gatherings of families with children of varying abilities. Eamon is currently holding sessions in both private practice and community settings where he has gained experience working with children, adolescents and adults in individual, family and group contexts.
