VCE, ANAM Professional Performance Program
I completed my musical education at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCE), the Australian National Academy of Music (Professional Performance Program), and since 2013 have been consistently working in the classical music industry, with the Australian String Quartet as Second Violin and co-Artistic Director (2013-2014) and as a freelancer (2014-present). I currently perform with various chamber music ensembles such as Affinity Collective and the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra and am working on contract with Orchestra Victoria.
I have taught sporadically in the past five years but am now making teaching a regular part of my career as I feel that after the high level of musical training I recieved, particularly while at ANAM, and the experience I have gained in the industry so far, I have a lot to offer to people of all ages who want to learn about music and the violin.
I teach from my home in Northcote, Melbourne and am willing to travel to students’ homes who are also based in the northern suburbs, where necessary. I also have a teaching studio in South Yarra for any students in the south side. I have a valid Working with Children Check.
I greatly value sharing and swapping knowledge with people and making lessons enjoyable for students while helping them achieve their musical goals.
