I’m a Melbourne-based freelance trumpeter from Auckland, currently in my final year at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), studying under Yoram Levy and David Elton. In 2021 I completed my Bachelor of Music at the Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music (NZSM). I have eight years of experience teaching the trumpet, privately and in schools.
In recent years, I've had many exciting musical experiences, like performing as principal trumpet in the New Zealand National Youth Orchestra, and being a part of the Australian Youth Orchestra. Through ANAM I have also had at the opportunity to play concerts with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and Auckland Philharmonia. My musical interest and areas of expertise are diverse - I enjoy everything from orchestral and brass band music to jazz and pop.
