General Details

Over 14 years of teaching experience.

Beginners – Just for fun – Intermediate – Advanced

My aim for the beginner is to start them off with the correct technique while maintaining the joy of discovering the clarinet. I have seen so many unfortunate clarinet students (myself being one) taught wrong techniques which have left them with bad habits that cause a lot of pain. Unless corrected, the clarinetist will find it very difficult to progress to a higher level.

For the intermediate and advanced clarinetist, come to the lesson with an open mind. If you are serious about playing the clarinet, I will bring you to the next level.

In essence, I want to give you the tools to create beautiful music and to do this, we will cover technique, musicianship, performance anxiety and adjusting reeds.
