Ivy Han

My goal is to find, with the student, the joy and the feeling of profound concentration while playing the cello.
I have extensive experience as a soloist, leading orchestras and chamber groups.

Past achievements:

2022
• Second prize in the Young Instrumentalist Prize
• Silver Medal at the Manhattan International Music Competition
• Solo performance with the Redlands Sinfonia Orchestra

2021
• Recitalist in the National Youth Concerto Competition
• Performed with the Queensland Pops Orchestra as the recipient of the Scholarship award
• Redlands Eisteddfod Prize Money Scholarship winner

2019
• Cello section leader at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University Australian Honours Ensemble Program
• Redlands Eisteddfod Prize Money Scholarship winner

Qualifications
• AMusA (Associate of Music) and LMusA (Licentiate of Music) with Distinction in cello
• Australian Strings Association String Award in recognition for being the most outstanding performer
