I have been teaching music since 1993. Lessons are held in a friendly environment in either locations: Eltham (my home) or around the Ivanhoe and surrounding neighbourhood (home visits). Online (Skype) lessons are also offered, Melbourne time.
My focus is teaching people of all ages to read music, as well as understanding chords and music theory.
Students have gone on to successful university and tafe studies, band work, composition. Whilst others are happy becoming fluent at playing/singing for recreation.
My interest lies in tailoring lessons towards each students' needs and lifestyle to achieve individual results, while enjoying themselves. Exams are available in piano and theory.
Lessons are $34 per half hour, $68 per hour. An early bird or discounted rate is available to students after their first term to help cover any missed lessons as it is too difficult to accommodate everyone.
