Hello,
I am a pianist, composer, improviser, researcher, and lecturer, deeply passionate about music and musical education. I have taught music for over seventeen years, privately, in primary and secondary schools, at universities, and at conservatories in Australia and the UK. I teach piano, music theory and history, composition, and improvisation to all ages, from beginners to advanced students. I can prepare students for AMEB examination, university and conservatoire autitions, and help you develop specific repertoire. My approach to musical education is one of mentorship, kindness, and approachability, tailoring materials to the needs of the individual student.
I offer in-home lessons, teaching one-on-one while also offering family lessons. I travel to most inner-suburbs in the south-east including St Kilda, Albert Park, Middle Park, South Melbourne, Southbank, East Melbourne, Melbourne CBD, South Yarra, Prahran, Windsor, Malvern, Caulfield, Elwood, Richmond, and Hawthorne.
My rates are $60 for 30mins, $80 for 45mins, $100 for 60mins.
