James McNaughton

I am an experienced Trombone player and teacher. I have completed all AMEB Grades up to and including Professional Performance and continue to study and perform at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. In 2020 as Associate Principal Trombone I toured internationally with the SYO. In the same year I was selected as Australian Youth Orchestra 'Young Symphonist'. I have freelance professional playing experience which includes for the international rock band "Foreigner" on their most recent tour of Australia, including their sold out performance at the Sydney Opera House. I have experience with The Arts Unit and am very familiar with their audition requirements having played in High School in NSW State ensembles as well as in both Schools Spectacular Stage Band and Orchestra. I travel to students throughout the Eastern and Southern Suburbs of Sydney but also teach from my home studio in the Cronulla Sutherland area.
