Piano Lessons

Janice is a dedicated full-time piano teacher who aims to unlock each student’s potential in piano playing. Having achieved her C.Mus diploma with a distinction result, she is now striving toward her L.Mus to further enhance her piano skills & qualifications. She offers piano lessons to anyone who is keen on learning.

Whether students would like to learn for fun or take the challenge of exams, Janice is happy to welcome all students who are interested in piano. She is motivated to help her students grow & develop their skills in playing.

What's involved:
• Scales - to improve the student’s technical ability, building strength and dexterity in the fingers
• Rhythm activities with clapping and counting - to improve the student’s timing & rhythmic precision
• Note reading - to read musical notes & identify the location of the keys on the piano
• Repertoire/Pieces - to explore different musical styles & develop the student’s skills in playing piano
• Improvisation - to expand the student’s creativity in playing music spontaneously
