I am an open and friendly teacher who is passionate about music. I am a very experienced teacher and am happy to teach students of any age and level.
I am a casual musician with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.
I have a Master of Music from Griffith University, supported by a Postgraduate Research Scholarship. This project involved investigating strategies for optimising practice efficiency and for maintaining a healthy approach to practice.
In 2016, I completed 3 years of study at the Australian National Academy of Music under highly acclaimed teacher Virginia Taylor and I have a First Class Honours degree in Flute Performance from the University of Melbourne.
I love to share my passion for music with enthusiastic students to whom I can pass down some of the gems I have learned from my own incredible teachers.
