I am an open and friendly teacher who is passionate about music. I am a very experienced teacher and am happy to teach students of any age and level.
I am a casual musician with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra for both flute and piccolo.
In 2018 I graduated with a Master of Music Performance supported by a Griffith University Postgraduate Research Scholarship. This project involves investigating strategies for optimising practice efficiency and for maintaining a healthy approach to practice.
I have recently completed 3 years of study at the Australian National Academy of Music under highly acclaimed teacher Virginia Taylor.
I have a First Class Honours degree in Flute Performance from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science.
I am looking for some motivated and enthusiastic students to share my passion with and to whom I can pass down some of the gems I have learned from my own incredible teachers.
