Jess Phillippi

Jess is a graduate of Showfit and The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, where she completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Theatre in 2015. Her credits at WAAPA include ‘Thalia’ in a workshop presentation of Matthew Robinson’s Atlantis, ‘Little Becky’ in Urinetown, ‘Serena’ in Legally Blonde, and ‘Chris Hargensen’ in Carrie. While at WAAPA, she studied singing with Dr. Aaron Hales.

In December 2015, Jess played the role of ‘Macy’ in Cottesloe Films’ short musical comedy ‘Library of Love’ alongside ‘Glee’ and ‘Scream Queens’ writer Ian Brennan. The film is currently in post production.

Jess has spent the last two years as a singing teacher at Johnny Young Talent School in Perth, coaching performance troupes in vocal technique and repertoire/song interpretation. During 2016, she will also be teaching voice classes at number of school across Victoria. Jess holds a current Working With Children’s check.
