Hi, my name is Jin and I am a classically trained violinist/violist based on the Gold Coast, and I am looking for some new violin/viola or music theory students to teach around the area. I am happy to teach from no experience at all to a Grade 8 AMEB performance level standard.

I have had around 7 years' worth of experience in strings performance now, having attained my AMusA in piano and viola along with an Honours completion of Grade 5 Theory in 2021. I've played in trios, quartets and quintets for various gigs/events, having participated in state-level ensembles such as the Australian Honours Ensemble Program (AHEP) and Gold Coast Youth Orchestra, and having been given the privilege to serve as the Music Captain of my school in 2023.

I also have experience as a practice buddy, to teach students with a main strings tutor how to practice smarter, not harder, at home between their lessons to improve more quickly by having a targeted approach to their practice. Although I specialise in classical performance, I am flexible to different requests, such as pop music or special auditions for orchestras/schools.
