Jo Fabro

I am a professional vocalist with a BMUS and a Masters of Music (Vocal Pedagogy). I have been working in the music industry full time for the past 20 years and teaching for the past 15 years.
I currently work as a vocal coach at Sydney Conservatorium Open Academy I have a successful private studio in Waterloo (just a 8-minute walk from Redfern Train station). I am also the Vice-President of the NSW chapter of The Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing.

I specialise in Jazz, Soul, Blues and contemporary vocals, from ages 15 years and up, and believe in teaching you great technique in order to help you reach your full potential as a singer, as well as having a great time.

I have performed at venues and festivals such as Manly Jazz Festival, Wangaratta Jazz Festival, Tauranga Jazz Festival (NZ), Carols in the Domain, The Peats Ridge Festival, Darling Harbour Jazz Festival and worked with artists such as Evermore, Guns n Roses, Jade MacRae, Paulini, and Joy Yates.

You can currently see me performing at venues in Sydney such as Lazybones Lounge, SIMA, Butchers Brew, Foundry 616, Gasoline Pony, but check out my website for an up to date gig listing.
