As a highly qualified, passionate and positive teacher, I can help your child achieve while learning to love their instrument.

My focus is on effective learning and building student motivation. If you're looking for a way to get your child regularly playing and ENJOYING it, come see me today.

Whether you're interested in popular, contemporary or classical styles, I am happy to guide my students in learning more about what they love and how to master their instrument. This might include AMEB exams, playing as part of a band program, forming their own small ensembles or simply playing at home for fun!

I work within schools as an instrumental pedagogue and classroom educator, with research as one of my many passions. My teaching is informed by current pedagogical research and designed to encourage and engage students at all levels.

I have performed with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Camerata of St. John's and the Queensland Pops Orchestra. I also work as the principal flute of the Brisbane Philharmonic.

I teach in my air-conditioned studio at a very accessible location in Red Hill. There is plenty of parking, with my house sitting within walking distance of several bus routes.
