Jodi Chen

I am a Private Piano and Music Theory Teacher specialised in AMEB and ABRSM at all grades and Performance Diploma. I am also an experienced Piano Accompanist for instrumental practical exams at all grades.

I have a Master degree in Composition and twenty years experience in piano and academic teaching, which makes me an all around music teacher. I am enthusiastic about teaching and well liked by my students.

I am a fully qualified and registered secondary music teacher.
I was the former Music Instrumental Coordinator, Music teacher and Chinese teacher at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College Bentleigh, Melbourne, taught Y7 to VCE music curriculum program. In addition to the co-curriculum program, I established the new Concert Band in 2011, and I was the director of Concert Band and Choirs.

I taught music at some of New Zealand's most prestigious schools, including Epsom Girls Grammar School, and I was the former Head of Music Department at Baradene College of the Sacred Heart in Auckland prior to my arrival in Melbourne.

I have a diverse interest in music including been a composer, conductor, piano accompanist, flutist and soprano.
