Joel Huxley

Hello! My name is Joel, and I am a dedicated and accomplished trombone and trumpet player based on the Northern Beaches, with over a decade of musical experience.

Throughout my career, I have been privileged to perform as a lead instrumentalist in a variety of ensembles, from Big Bands to Orchestras. I have had performed at esteemed events such as the Manly Jazz Festival and the Australian School Band and Orchestra Festival (ASBOF), consistently achieving gold awards over several years as a part of the Manly Selective ensembles. In 2023, I received a pass with honours in my 8th grade exam trombone exam and attained a Band 6 in Music 2 in my HSC, reflecting my commitment to musical excellence.

I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise with aspiring musicians. Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate student, I offer tailored lessons across various styles, including classical, jazz, and more! I can also assist with band repertoire and AMEB grade preparations to support your musical journey.
