About me:
My name is Jonathan and I am a drummer & musician with 20+ years of experience in performing & teaching.

I have completed a Cert IV in Music Performance from NMIT (now Melbourne Polytechnic) in 2009, a Bachelor of the Arts in Jazz & Improvisation in 2012 at Victorian College of the Arts and I also have a Working With Children check (WWCC).

I have performed in a vast array of music performances, bands & ensembles. These range from cover bands for weddings and corporate functions, original bands playing rock, modern pop and electronica and jazz ensembles. I am currently learning and producing electronic music and beats on Ableton Live.

About the lessons:

Lessons will be tailored to you and will cover drumset & rhythm fundamentals for all styles & music theory for all different levels of drumming to help you along with your journey.

Whether you're just getting started, wanting to learn how to play song, are already an experienced drummer, needing coaching or help with auditions or wanting to produce music, composing and recording using Ableton Live, I will assist in all aspects of music you are interested in.

Currently I travel out to my students as I don't have a teaching space of my own. Pricing takes into account the travel distance for the suburbs listed and surrounding areas.
