Jonathon Moore

My name is Jonathon and I’m available to help you on your guitar journey. I hold degrees in both contemporary music performance and teaching from the Victorian College of the Arts and Melbourne Conservatorium of Music respectively. I have over 10 years of experience as a music teacher, and have had a long career performing professionally across Australia and internationally.

I have worked with students of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and skills levels, and I believe in finding tailored approaches that allow each individual to achieve their own musical goals. My primary aim is to equip students with the tools to and become independent learners, and to foster and encourage a deep love for playing and listening to music.

• Exam/university entrance preparation

I genuinely believe that music is for everyone, and that everyone is capable of creating and contributing something truly unique to the ongoing conversation of music. I so look forward to working with you no matter what stage of your journey you are on.
