Jordon He

With his musical compositions performed in over twelve countries, Jordon He has been recognised as a classical music composer of creative programming and a performer with passionate interpretations. Selected as a member of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra Prodigy Project in 2016 and being in orchestral ensembles for most of his life, Jordon incorporates his experience as an ensemble player into his compositional abilities. In 2020, he completed his Bachelor of Music in Performance at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.

Jordon focuses on creating compositions from the point of view of a performer, as he firmly believes the two mediums are closely correlated. Venues, in which Jordon’s works have been performed include the Sydney Opera House, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Joseph Joachim Konzertsaal (Berlin) and Musiikkitalo (Helsinki). Jordon has been a long-time collaborator with the violin duo, TwoSet Violin, as a composer and arranger. A highlight of his compositional career is a sell-out concert at the Sha Tin Town Hall Auditorium in Hong Kong by the Hong Kong Festival Orchestra and TwoSet Violin.
