I am Jorge Gindi and I have 18 years playing the violin, I am from Venezuela and I belong to the system of youth and children Orchestras of Venezuela, I was a member of the symphony Teresa Carreno of Venezuelan, in the line of first violins. As a member of this orchestra I had received master classes from teachers like Ray Chen, Alexandra Soumm, Cecilia Gomez, among others. Equally, receiving integral training as orchestral rehearsals, individual classes and chamber music. I have traveled with the symphonic Teresa Carreno by Germany, Austria, Holland, Spain, England, Liechtenstein, France, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, Turkey, Italy, China and Japan, being directed by great direct ones like Gustavo Dudamel, Claudio Abbado, Simon Rattle, Christian Vasquez, among others.
Now I am here in Australia and I think that is a good idea to teach and share all my experiences and knowledge with other human beings, so I can learn during the process of the Australian culture and both enriched with knowledge and good learning. (I worked in Venezuela as Violin Teacher for 5 years)
Willing to help, provide knowledge and create a space full of harmony, full of music, what a musician most loves, full of passion and love.
Beginners start with the basics of having a comfortable hold of the instrument and bow. Then we then learn to read music. As you develop fingering and bowing skills we will cover material that can prepare you for exams. Doing exams is optional, but recommended, as having a goal aids progress. We develop intonation and tone quality and learn how to interpret pieces musically. Most lessons have three parts: scales, studies and pieces. The benefits are: increasing the capacity of your memory; refines time management and organizational skills; enhances coordination; betters maths ability; boosts team skills; teaches perseverance; improves reading and comprehension skills; sharpens concentration; fosters self expression and relieves stress; promotes social skills; teaches discipline; creates a sense of achievement and builds listening skills.
