Josef Hanic

In 1979, Josef moved to Sydney to become the Lecturer in Oboe at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He was also a member of the Sydney Wind Quintet, touring interstate and overseas. He made numerous broadcasts for the ABC as a soloist and as a member of the Sydney Wind Quintet. He has played with the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Australia Ensemble, and was a member and founder of the chamber group Ensemble Quattro.

Since retirement from the Conservatorium, he has continued to perform as a soloist and chamber musician around Sydney.

Josef welcomes students of intermediate to advanced ability.
