Young people and adults with good innate musicality and some knowledge of notation can enjoy exploring mediaeval and Renaissance part-music, using voices, recorders, strings (also possibly oboe, brass etc) and Judy's gemshorns, crumhorns, dulcimers, harps, chrotta, rebec, glockenspiel and pitched bells.
