Juliet specialises in vocal coaching that is not limited to vocal instruction. Her experience as a jazz vocalist, songwriter, recording artiste and a working musician allows her to share her knowledge with singers and songwriters who wish to get serious with their craft, or simply wish to get started.
At the same time, she is deeply passionate about helping singers with vocal problems, holds a DipLCM specialising in Popular Music Vocal Teaching (University of West London) and has been teaching music for over a decade. She is effectively bilingual in Mandarin and English and performs in various languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Korean, and more). She is dedicated to helping students from different backgrounds craft and refine the music they make.
She is currently working on her 3rd original album and has recently written original Mandarin lyrics for jazz and latin standards including Joy Spring (Clifford Brown) and O Barquinho (Roberto Menescal).
Her most well-received work is her 1999 lyrical collaboration with international artiste JJLin 林俊杰 《被风吹过的夏天》(The Windblown Summer) and her recording of the theme song for Singaporean cult movie “Eating Air”.
