My name is Julius Lynch. I am seventeen years old and have been playing the violin since the age of four. I started learning with Michael Patterson in 2004 and now I learn with Dr Brendan Joyce. I graduated from Brisbane Boys College where I was lucky enough to be the concert master of the school symphony orchestra and the chamber ensemble. I attained my Ameb AmusA with distinction in 2016 and was invited to perform at the Annual Ameb awards ceremony soon after. In 2016, I was given the opportunity to work with the ACO, for a week, at their annual academy held in Brisbane. In early 2017 I came second in the English family prize run by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and was fortunate enough to be loaned a violin. I love to share music with others and do so by performing at various nursing homes, with family, around Brisbane on the holidays.
